Idea behind the concept:
A Guardian that failed to fulfill its duty to protect and trap into living and can't do anything
Lore:
Found at the Everchanging Forest of Binazoan. The Burden was an unnamed Guardian summoned to protect the Elemental Spirits specifically Forest Spirits to be consumed by the first Dark Prince. During the sparks of the rebellion, its forest was the first one to be targeted by the Dark Prince's Army. Unfortunately, during the defence, it was left behind disabled unknown by the enemy and its kind. it witnessed the effortless defeat of its fellow Guardians from the beginning until its downfall. It still lives despite its damage remembering everything from the past until today.
It is said to believed that its anger makes its core to produce heat, causing water sorrounding it to evaporate which creates mist throughout the forest. its cries makes the ground shake making the geological formation of the forest change making it difficult to create roads and campsites. That's why it is called the Everchanging Forest.
Inexperienced adventurer often found themselves lost for hours or even months traversing through this forest. Some geologist also claims that the forest moves and still confused on what really the borders of this forest was. The only existing image of The Burden was drawn by a least known traveling blacksmith and most people believe it was just a hoax. It is because most of the claims for its sightings was from the Great Heroes, Guardians, Rebels and even the wicked leaders from the past. The only similarities from the sighting claims that its lower body was buried in a shallow lake and that this Guardian says that it only guide the "Pure" and all people decided not to say what does The Burden says to them. This confused a lot of people into what does really pure mean and conclude it might be both "Pure Good" and "Pure Evil" can see The Burden. this inspire many novelist to write some allegories and stories surrounding the concept of "Purity" by the Burden.
